Some of the most common questions or statements from homeowners who have purchased a newly built home is “will boarding my loft void my NHBC warranty?”,  “I have been told that boarding the loft in my new build can’t be done without voiding your new build warranty” or “We have been told by another company that their system is the ONLY officially approved method to board a new build loft over high insulation”.

Loft Boarding Derby is part of the Loft Leg raised loft storage system Recommended Installer Network and uses the Loft Leg XL system in newly built properties.  As Loft Leg are manufacturers of a system designed to raise loft floor boards for storage above loft insulation, they too are often been asked whether installing a system such as Loft Leg would invalidate the NHBC warranty.
